By Potter's Field Publishing, LLC.
Anyone who has a police procedural, thriller, or mystery and who knows they can use their book cover image to promote their book. Please only ask for an offer if you will consider the offer seriously and have the courtesy to respond either way in a timely manner.
After receiving a request for an offer, Potter's Field Publishing does all the work. All an author needs to do is wait for a reply email with a link to view their book cover in the Evidoozle game. The limited time offer is exclusive and the only individual able to see the book cover in action in Evidoozle is the author receiving the offer. If everything looks great and the author wants to participate, approve our use of the book cover for a day using the 'Approve' menu item. If for whatever reason the offer doesn't suit the author, that's ok too. But so far that's been rare.
Authors are expected to read the brief Offer Terms that grants us the right to use the book cover in the game for a day. It is intended to spell out pretty much the obvious—
especially that the book cover remains the intellectual property of the owner, the same way as Evidoozle remains the sole property of Potter's Field Publishing. It also reinforces that the author doesn't owe anything for appearing on Evidoozle and likewise Potter's Field Publishing isn't expected to pay the author or any of their affiliates for use of their cover.
Check the box that the Offer Terms have been read and then the 'Accept Terms' button to get an approval code and the date your book cover will appear. An example of the Offer Terms can be found here.
The process should take roughly a minute to complete. Screenshots of the steps can be found here.
Send the 5 character Acceptance Code that is generated upon approval to offers@evidoozle.com. If you prefer a different date than the one we provided for your book cover to appear, please indicate so in your email, and we will arrange for a different date. Finally, if you have a Facebook presence, please include your Facebook address in the email as well.
